Life is constantly changing

“Men are born soft and supple;
dead, they are stiff and hard.
Plats are born tender and pliant;
dead, they are brittle and dry.
Thus whoever is stiff and inflexible
is a disciple of death.
Whoever is soft and yielding
is a disciple of life.
The hard and stiff will be broken.
The soft and supple will prevail.” ~ Lao Tzu

Life is constantly changing. We are constantly changing. But because we are so comfortable with things remaining the same, and because we like to feel safe and secure at all times, we do our best to resist change, failing to realize that by resisting change we are in fact resisting life.

Our Soul, the essence of who we are, is soft and yielding, thus, a disciple of life. And it needs us to go through the many changes life sends our way in order for us to grow and realize our true nature. It needs us to go through all these changes so we can lift the veil from our eyes that prevents us from seeing and experiencing our purity, and the purity of everyone around us. It needs us to dispose of what is old, of what is no longer working for us, so that we can open ourselves to new things, new experiences and the new ideas that are meant to take us to the next dimension of our expansion, growth and evolution.

Yang paling banyak meragut kegembiraan

Yang paling banyak meragut kegembiraan kita dalam hidup seharian ialah sangka buruk, hasad dengki dan marah. Ubatnya ialah sangka baik, mendoakan dan memaafkan.

Are You Committed?

Are You Committed?

Until you decide what you want to do, you’ll continue wasting absurd amounts of time. You’ll lack direction and motivation. Thus, you’ll never gain momentum and always continue as a novice in everything you do. You’ll also fail to experience the luck that strikes up those with purpose. Mostly saidly, your life will lack the meaning and depth you hunger for as a human being.

As William Hutchison Murray famously said:

    “Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”

You need to find your path. That is perhaps the most important thing you can do in your life. Until you do, you’ll always be floating. Until you do, you’ll never be able to make the impact you were meant to have in your life.

Your life has a purpose. You have unique talents and abilities—your own superpower. Once you figure out what that is, you will become unstoppable.

How to practice emotional hygiene

How to practice emotional hygiene
Guy Winch | TEDxLinnaeusUniversity

Loneliness.

Loneliness creates a deep psychological wound. One that distorts our perception and scrambles our thinking. It makes us believe that those around us cares less about us than they actually do. It makes us so afraid to reach out because why set yourself up for rejection and heartache, when your heart is already aching more than you can stand.

You feel disconnected from the people around you.
